Due to a major water main break at the Ottawa Power Plant on 2nd Street, the City of Ottawa, RWD No. 1, 2, 3, & 4, and the City of Princeton are under an emergency boil order until further notice. Do NOT consume water from your tap unless you boil it first! Stay tuned to KOFO 1220 & 103.7 FM, as well as our KOFO Radio Facebook & Twitter pages for updates!
KOFO  Sports Calendar - Sunday, Aug. 28 - Royals v. Red Sox tonight on KOFO

The culprit spurring the boil order in Ottawa turned out to be a crakced pipe in front of the Ottawa power plant. The boil order is likely to be in effect until Tuesday morning however, the order will be in effect until city workers can confirm that all the water supplied by the city is of the same quality before the break occured.
The city will be handing out free water again Monday in the parking lot across from The Ottawa City Hall.
